Depuis 17 ans, Jean-Luc Thomas a régulièrement voyagé au Brésil. Dans "Oficina Itinerante", il retrace les expériences et les rencontres qu’il a vécues dans ce pays durant ces années.
Atypique, cette création est avant tout un carnet de voyage qui nous fait traverser le Brésil de part en part. Ce disque, c’est le croisement des univers des Pifanos, du Frevo, du Choro, et des improvisations que Jean-Luc Thomas modèle au gré des couleurs, des sons et des personnes trouvées en chemin.
C’est également un récit personnel d’ambiances, d’anecdotes, d’atmosphères, riches de rencontres et de complicités.
C’est une échappée réelle et virtuelle où les sons vibrent autour de nous, les mélodies et les rythmes insolites nous entrainent et résonnent.

For 17 years, Jean-Luc Thomas has regularly traveled to Brazil. In « Oficina Itinerante », he traces the experiences and encounters he has had in this country during these years.
Atypical, this creation is a travel diary that takes us through Brazil. This album is the intersection of the universes of Pifanos, Frevo, Choro, and improvisations that Jean-Luc Thomas models according to the colors, sounds and people found along the way.
This creation also is a personal story of atmospheres, anecdotes, rich in encounters and complicity.
It’s a real and virtual escape during which sounds vibrate around us and unusual melodies take us away.
