How to be more specific and to fix vague recommendations

Here I answer popular questions of participants of the Value-added reading course. The course teaches people how to possess big amounts of information and transform it into an instrument of solving personal or professional problems. The course is difficult and unfamiliar. So a lot of questions arise.

One of them is "How to fix a vague recommendation" or "How to make a thesis more specific". We are eager to be as specific as possible in professional literature. Our recommendations will eventually be implemented by qualified persons. And that is why these recommendations should provide stable results.

But it's not so easy to be specific, and we face lots of vague recommendations in non-fiction. However, sometimes you can fix it.
