How to Build a Bat House

In today's video, I'll show you how to create a bat house that will provide shelter for bats to sleep and hide in from predators.

Materials:
1” x 2”x8’ Board Cut into 2- 2’ 7” Sections and 1- 21” section
½ ” Plywood cut into the following sections
2’ x 3’ (Back)
2’ x 2’ (Front Top)
2’ x 0.5’ (Front Bottom)
24” x 4” (Roof)
T Bracket
Screen Mesh (2’ x 2.5’)
Drill with Phillips bit
30 1-1/4” Screws
Brown Spray Paint
Directions:
1)Attach screen mesh to the backboard with staples if not already attached
2)Screw on the 2 ft sections of 1” x 2” sides to each side of the back
3)Screw on the 20-inch section of 1” x 2” top to the top in between the sides
4)Screw on the front top panel then front bottom panel leaving about a ½” vent in between
5)Spray paint making sure to cover all areas but not inside (cover-up mesh with something like paper)
6)Attach T bracket to the top center on the backside of the bat house
