How to Build a Fish Habitat

In today's video, I will be showing you how to create a fish habitat out of a 5-gallon bucket and 1/2" Irrigation tubing. These habitats work great for sustaining fish populations and provide excellent habitat for fish to live and hide in.

Materials:
5-gallon bucket
100 ft of ½” Irrigation tubing cut into about 5 ft sections for a total of 20 Pieces
¼ bag of Quikrete concrete mix
Heavy-duty scissors/Cutting tool for tubing
Drill
¾” Drill Bit
Directions:
Slowly pour and mix water into the concrete mix in bucket until the concrete is saturated and wait for it to dry
Drill 40 holes in random places around the sides
Cut tubing into 20 5ft sections
Insert tubing into 1 hole and out another on the sides of the bucket (keep the bucket handle at the top of the bucket)
Attach lid
