Google Meet: Join Meeting w/o a Google account by Chris Menard

It is easy to invite people to a Google Meet. You can do it in the Google Calendar, from MS Outlook (w/ an add-in), and add them while a Meeting is in progress. Google is rolling out Google Meet for free to Gmail users starting in May 2020. One issue I have run into is I can invite non-Google users to a Google Meet with a G Suite Account with no problem.
Example: I invite Bill Smith to my Meet. Bill's email is billsmith@defcompany.com. Bill can join the meeting w/o a Google Account. When I invite with my non-Guite account, Bill can't join my meeting. Google needs to fix this if they want to compete with Zoom.

This video demonstrates how someone with a non-Google business account can join a Google Meet when inviting with a G Suite account. You can invite anyone to a Google Meet. Yahoo account, Hotmail, outlook account, and business accounts.
