Dr. Alfredo Barragán is considered one of the most important expeditionaries of the world. He has climbed the highest mountains of America and Africa; dived in many seas of the Earth; crossed the Andes in a balloon and made the Antillas Sea Journey by kayak, the smallest boat to ever cross the sea. But he is mostly known as the captain of the Atlantis Expedition, which in 1984 crossed the Atlantic Ocean in a wooden boat, with no engine and no wheel, from Europe to America. He lives and works in Dolores, Argentina.

In this TEDxTalk (in spanish), he tells us how he plans every expedition up to the minimum detail, only to accomplish his most important goal: to go back home after having reached the peak.
