In September 2021, the Compassion Prison Project team launched its first episode of Trauma Talks, for the incarcerated men at Valley State Prison (VSP) in California. The team also presented information about childhood trauma to dozens of dedicated correctional officers and staff.

This month, leading up to Giving Tuesday on November 30th, we will be sharing our experiences from this trip with you. We will share stories that brought both joy and sorrow and enlivened deep compassion. Stories that were transformative, which opened our eyes and touched our hearts.
