Jennifer Tomkins THE CUFFLINKS (with lyrics)

Due to contractual problems, lead singer with The Cufflinks Ron Dante had to back out of recording this one, so fellow bandmate Rupert Holmes (he of the hit song "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)" and a multi-talented artist) took lead vocals. The song was issued credited to a non-existent band, The Street People. The song did, however, make it onto the Cufflkinks' second studio album with the bonus of an additional third verse which you will hear on this version.
