Golden Spike National Historic Site - (Flashback 2014)
In the summer of 2014, our family did a massive road trip out west. One of the stops was this remote location in northern Utah. Golden Spike commemorates the exact location where the Union and Central Pacific Railroads joined their rails on May 10, 1869. It was the completion of the first Transcontinental Railroad.
