WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY - PHOTOGRAPHING DUSKY GROUSE. How I find the animals I photograph

In this week's video, I spend some time with the Dusky Grouse in part 4 of 4 of my Grouse series of videos. This is a bird I have spent very little time with, so I demonstrate how I find the locations and animals that I photograph.

The Dusky Grouse, like all the other species I've focused on in this series, displays for female grouse in the area. The males fan out their tail feathers, show off the colorful combs over their eyes and colorful neck patches, all while making a very low pitched hooting noise. It's a beautiful display and I'm glad I was able to witness it this spring.
