2024 Solar Eclipse Adventure!

The 2024 total solar eclipse was quite the experience and I'm so glad to see the skies cleared for people across the path to catch a view! While Texas was the original plan due to higher percentage of clear skies, we had to cancel on short notice to chase the clear skies Maine was forecasting.

After 14 hours of driving we finally made it to a campground our friends scouted in northern Maine by the Canadian border, called Natanis Point. Camping under the stars and getting the equipment setup the night before was so fun and of course spending time with a great group of people made all the difference!

I wanted to capture a video to document the experience, especially a real-time video of what totality looks like (totality starts at 8:28).

While totality was 3 minutes and 22 seconds from our location, it only felt like 30 seconds in person! You will get to see that in this video, which seems like forever, but I think it was so cool to hear all the ooos and ahhs during totality =)

Hope you enjoy the video!
