World Stamp Show 2016 - Matt Dieterich National Parks Stamp Speech

In 2016, my Star Trails over Mount Rainier photo became world famous and was turned into a Forever Stamp by the US Postal Service. The National Park Service was turning 100 years old at the time and the Postal Service created a unique stamp collection to celebrate the centennial event. Once a decade, the World Stamp Show convention is held and I was fortunate enough to give a speech that was broadcasted around the world for the unveiling to talk about the photo. My Astronomy Ranger experience at Mount Rainier National Park in the Summer of 2015 resulted in an amazing new appreciation for the Parks and many new friendships. Since that short Summer experience, I have wanted to push the boundaries for my photography with the hopes of inspiring others to get outside and enjoy our natural resources.
