Welding and Repairing a Cracked Wheel Loader Bucket (Pay Loader Part 3)

Note about Safety:
I would have been safer to roll the machine up to the cribbing rather than set up cribbing under the boom. In the event of a sudden burst of a hose on the boom, the safety cribbing would stop the loader and the bucket from curling forward at about 2.5' off of the ground. The single block atop a second, larger pile of cribbing was used to press the crack together while the safety cribbing remained in place. The second pile of cribbing was moved as the crack was welded together from the top-side while the first safety pile of cribbing remained in place. I showed my building up the safety cribbing that was to catch the loader and bucket toward the front of the video, but again, I would have been safer had I built the safety cribbing pile and then rolled the Pay Loader up to it. While welding we always had that safety pile of cribbing that would catch the bucket and loader even if the second pile of cribbing that was used to bring the crack together was completely removed.
