Roundtable Talk: Constitutional Committee Election

The Constitutional Committee (CC) is one of the three key governing bodies in Cardano’s on-chain governance. Its role is to uphold and interpret the Cardano Constitution, ensuring governance actions stay aligned with the core values and long-term interests of the ecosystem.

From June 5 to June 30, DReps will vote to elect 7 members of the first Constitutional Committee, replacing the Interim CC whose term ends on September 1, 2025.

To support informed and transparent decision-making, the Cardano Community Team has organized this special Roundtable Talk (RTT) to give DReps and the broader community a chance to hear directly from the candidates.

🔍 What to Expect in This Session:
• Meet the Candidates: Each individual, team, or council introduces themselves, their background, and their motivation for stepping up.
• Understand Their Vision: Learn how each candidate interprets the Constitution, their approach to governance, and why they believe they’re suited for this vital role.
• Equal Time, Clear Format: Every candidate answers the same 3 questions in a timed format (up to 7 minutes each), ensuring fairness and structure.
• Community Transparency: This session strengthens visibility and accountability in the governance process—key to Cardano’s decentralized future.

This RTT is a unique opportunity to connect with those seeking to uphold the values of the Cardano ecosystem at a foundational level. Whether you’re a DRep or an engaged community member, your awareness and participation matter.
