How to connect front panel connectors to the motherboard

When building a desktop computer you need to connect the power light, power switch, reset switch, hard drive activity light, a speaker for error code indication, front panel USB ports and front panel audio. So this video will show you how to install them with help from your motherboard user guide. Note:If your not sure which wire is the positive? All you need to do is check the back of the connector that's attached to the two wires and you will see an arrow which indicates the positive wire on that connector (This is shown on the hard drive connection in the video). You can also check with the manual that came with your desktop tower unit or check the tower unit manufacturers website.
