What’s up guys! Here’s a quick reaction to the original depth jump video. Dr Verkhoshansky is a pioneer for plyometrics and his book “supertraining” changed my perspective on training when I first read it in college.
The mid 1900’s Russian research is a gold mine of information, but because of the language gap many trainers never came across the research.
As always, remember that plyometrics can be some of the highest forces on the body so you may not be able to start with these intense variations.
My favorite program for gradually building up towards intense plyometrics is The Durability Code

As for athletes who are experienced and ready for intense plyo’s I advise getting on The Vert Code Programs and/or The Mac McClung Jump Program.
