Gopher Tortoise at Upper Tampa Bay Park

Just a pure hypothetical thought-provoking statement I made about table fare, I would never lay hands on a state threatened or endangered species. The other preserve I mentioned was Blackwater creek preserve near plant city I visited earlier in 2021 (corn snake must have been sleeping, had much less charisma than this turtle)- very big and impressive place with lots of upland variety (hiking trail is like 6-7 miles with no easy exit).

Great time to hike FL right now with the weather & lack of flooded trails/ mosquitos
