Lower Alapaha river brdge near the Suwannee river

Early May 2024, same day I visited big shoals rapids at the state park. Apparently this section of river goes completely dry seasonally, or at least it goes underground when the river height gets low enough. There's even signs nearby reminding folks that it's illegal to drive atv's on the dry sandy riverbed. I also removed the remains of a truck tire or 2 on the bridge over the (upper) Suwannee river just about a half mile south of there, more scenic there actually. But I'd never visited anywhere on this major tributary of the Suwannee until then, because it's practically pretty much only in Georgia and northern-most FL. Unfortunately the FL trail nearby was overgrown/ had downed trees, right after filming this tried to hike the trail that apparently goes all the way to the Suwannee confluence. But I was getting attacked by 30+ mosquitos, again it was overgrown/ looked like a tick haven... somebody needs to clean up the trail though sooner or later, please and thank you
