User Research Tips for Early-Stage Startups

Not every startup can do lots of user research.

But there is something they can do instead.

Get designs or an early build in front of even just 1 or 2 people who match your ideal customer profile.

You can find these in a few different ways, but a good starting point is just to have a close relationship with your first users and ask them if they'd like to help.

Otherwise you can try:
🙋 Reaching out to your email list
🙋 Finding people through platforms like Lyssna
🙋 Finding communities online and asking them

You'd be surprised how willing people are to help if it's to make something they love even better (as long as it's compensated of course!)
