If you are bow legged, you should definitely go see a doctor. However, the 2 tips I'm about to give you could perhaps help you. When you have Genu Varum your knees come further apart. This places extra stress on you and can cause knee pain over time. This can lead to joint damage and patellofemoral pain syndrome.

Knee issues are rarely from the knees themselves. Because the knees are in between your feet and hips, they are affected from below and above.

At your feet if you have high arches, this can turn your Tibia outwards. This in effect can bring your knee out further from your body. Therefore, a good way to correct this is to get fitted arches where the outer part is raised more. This will help to flatten your foot more and align you in a more proper position.

At your hips, weak Adductor muscles may cause you to become more bow legged. To help address this, strengthen those muscles. To do this, lay on your side and with your bottom leg, raise that up towards the ceiling. This will strengthen these muscles. If that is too easy, use an ankle weight.

Doing both of the above things are both useful tips that will perhaps help you to correct Genu Varum.
