2020 XC - Desert Twilight - 18-1 (Boys' Club Sweeps - Wave 1)

The national champs, having lost Nico and Jace to graduation, take on California's other top contenders in perhaps their only matchup of this pandemic-shortened season. Newbury is loaded with young talent, including Nico's younger twin brothers. And Bellarmine is loaded with experienced seniors, led by the Topper brothers. Great Oak lost 5-6 of their 7 starters on last year's national runner-up squad so what will we see out of them? All in 100 degree evening heat. Toughness will count.

The Desert Twilight was hosted at the The Links Golf Course in San Tan Valley, Arizona (south-east of Phoenix) on October 2, 2020. The course is 5 kilometers.
