2019 XC - Clovis Invite 6 (Championship Boys)

This is Race 6, the Championship Boys race, from the 2019 Clovis Cross Country Invitational held on the 5K Woodward Park (Fresno, CA) course on October 12, 2019. The meet is hosted by Clovis High. Temps started in the high 60s and topped out in low 80s by the end of the meet.

Commentary: Great Oak re-asserts it's dominance by placing their 5 within 15 seconds of each other, all in the top 20. Newbury Park sets meet record for team time. Nico Young fights off a late charge by Leo Daschbach and finishes just 4 seconds off the course record. Sets the meet record. Incredible field and a great follow-up to the Woodbridge duel last month. One of the best team duels ever.
