1970 Pontiac LeMans Part 6 : Machining And Assembling the Heads

Well our Pontiac 455 engine is torn down and all the schmutz is removed, it's time to get to the REAL work of engine rebuild! Most of the time whenever someone drops their motor off for a complete rebuild or even just some head work they never really see what that entails, well time to show you that behind the scenes process in a high end machine shop! For part 6 of this series we are back at Performance Research Inc in Columbus for some quality machine work and assembly. You won't find a better engine builder anywhere!

As we mentioned in previous videos, we want to show you this entire process of bringing out 1970 Pontiac LeMans back to life so this video is a BIT long but that's because we wanted to show you all what actually goes into getting this kind of Classic American Muscle back on the road! We have kept the upgrades on these heads to a minimum in order to make the before and after runs as close of an Apples to Apples comparison as possible.

Manley Valves were used to replaced the old worn out 70s hardware, new guides were machined in, hardened exhaust seats cut in and installed... Huge shout out to the Serdi 100 for all the hard work and precision cutting! Enjoy the show there's a LOT to see here!
