Pokémon Colosseum is a spinoff series Pokemon video game developed by Genius Sonority and Published by Nintendo. The main story takes the player Wes, a former Team Snagem member and his partner Rui, a girl with the rare ability to identify the aura of Shadow Pokémon, through the Orre region. They have the mission of tracking down Shadow Pokemon, Pokemon who's hearts have been artificially shut and have been turned into fighting machines, and catching or snagging them from trainers and the Shadow Pokemon Crime Syndicate known as Cipher! The game was released in late March 2004 exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube (GCN) and made available to play on the Wii through backwards compatibility.
