The modded skybox for Sky Road was a great touch!

Sonic Riders DX is a fan-modded version for the base game and one of the changes / liberties was modifying the levels / tracks for Babylon Garden and Sky Road so they looked like the weird spacey pocket dimension room from Erazor Djiinn's Palace in Sonic and the Secret Rings and it was REALLY COOL!

Sonic Riders is a racing-style video game developed by Now Production and Sonic Team and was published by SEGA. The story takes Sonic and friends through the World Grand Prix, in which Team Heroes and The Babylon Rogues (consisting of the new rival characters Jet the Hawk, Wave the Swallow and Storm the Albatross) compete against one another to see who's the fastest on Extreme Gear, the new racing hoverboards introduced in the game. It is the first Sonic RACING game since Sonic R and was created in commemoration for Sonic the Hedgehog's 15th Anniversary. The game was released in late February 2006 for the Nintendo GameCube (GCN), Playstation 2 (PS2), the original Xbox, and Windows PC.
