Dedicated to all the fire fighters, rescue workers and everyone who are battling the Creek Fire and other wildfires in the Sierra and other places.

This is the second part of a 6 day backpacking trip in Sierra Nevada just as the big fires are starting to take off. I start from Horseshoe Meadows and go to Cottonwood Lakes, where I climb Army Pass and summit Mt Langley, a 14000ft high peak. I continue and make my way to the Sierra High Trail in the Miter Basin and go past Sky Blue Lake, other amazing lakes and over Crabtree Pass into the Crabtree Basin. From there I go down to Crabtree Meadows and down to Guyout Creek where I meet up with friends from my Big SEKI loop video. We go to Guitar Lake and Summit Mount Whitney as the smoke and fires intensifies around us. We Exit at Whitney Portal the day before Inyo National Forrest is closed because of the wildfires.
