Solo Camping in the Wild North Surprised by Reindeer

I was out backpacking 10 days in Femundsmarka National Park, when one morning I was awakened by some strange noises right next to my head, it was a late morning around 10am close to Stor Svuku mountain. I peeked out the tent to see what it was, and a herd of Reindeer, led by Rudolph himself, (He had a red nose), had taken up position right on top of my camp. It wasnt even Christmas. They where 3-5 feet away from me, and when I peaked out, they just looked casually at me and kept at it, eating stuff. A fight broke out between one of the young bulls and the rest of the herd over some food I believe, and I was able to capture some pretty awesome footage. The herd had many newborn calves with them, some could not have been more than a few days old. Very cool, and a very special nature experience!
