No one likes a tuna pizza, right?

The associations are wrong: Slimy flakes of tinny tuna turning dry and gritty in the wood-fired oven. A can of fishy tuna tainting your pure and beloved mozzarella with what some wrongly correlate with cat food.

At Bro Pizzeria in Naples, Ciro and Antonio Tutino try to get the associations right. Ingredients are carefully chosen AND optimised - a total pizza approach.

The Corradino is Bro’s umami-packed tuna pizza. Total tuna pizza. Lovely fillets of tonno rosso (Mediterranean bluefin tuna) are scattered over a cartwheel-style Neapolitan base with smoked Provola, escarole marinated in umami-rich colatura di alici (a fish sauce squeezed out of fermented anchovies), cherry tomato confit, black olive powder and extra virgin olive oil.
