Saving Treasures before the Tide takes them away - Mudlarking with Nicola White

Join me as I go mudlarking along the Thames Estuary. It's a freezing cold, rainy and blustery day - but very invigorating all the same. In this video I find a special treasure just moments before the tide comes in to almost certainly take it away. It's a little broken and so requires some special attention back in the Tideline Studio!

I also walk out to Grain Tower Battery in Kent, a mid 19th century gun tower situated offshore near Grain in Kent. It's somewhere dear to my heart! A few years ago I spent a night out there with a friend and we had the greatest time exploring and wild camping. When the tide is out you can reach the fort by foot. You have to be careful though as the tide creeps in very stealthily and before you know it you can be stuck there!
