Jennie suffered a heart attack at only 41 - Go Red For Women Survivor Video

Jennie Covert Stewart had spent Sunday afternoon at her youngest son's baseball game. Expecting company after the game, she hurried home to prepare. The symptoms began quickly. First her left arm got achy. Then she experienced severe heartburn, followed by chest pain. When she began to break out into a cold sweat she was certain she had eaten something bad. Soon after, the doorbell rang and Jennie rushed to put on dry clothing and welcome her guests. Her friend knew right away something was wrong and quizzed her on her symptoms. She insisted that Jennie was having a heart attack and that they call 911 immediately. At only 41 years of age, healthy and active, Jennie thought it was a ridiculous notion. EMS arrived and rushed her to a hospital where a cardiologist put in two stents, which saved Jennie's life. This all transpired in a mere 52 minutes after placing the 911 call.
