Things you’ll want to bring with you (with timestamps):
• (00:21) Before orientation, please call your driver employment specialist to discuss your travel and lodging arrangement
o (00:33) Make sure you know the orientation, time to be there, and check the weather of your destination
• (00:45) Bring soft sided luggage like duffle bags
• (00:52) Bring a backpack
• (01:01) Pack enough clothing to last for 7 days
• (01:11) For Flatbed and Specialized Drivers, bring steel toe shoes, and (depending on the season) coveralls, shorts or long johns
• (01:16) Pack work gloves and work clothing for hands-on training
• (01:29) Personal items, personal medication
• (01:53) Bring sleeping bags or sheets and pillow
• (02:15) Additional items: notebook, pen, flashlight, driver’s license, social security card, travel document, voided check
• (02:29) Send or bring:
o Driving School Diploma
o DD Form 214 for veterans
• (03:06) If you are treating sleep apnea, bring your CPAP or AutoPAP machine
• (03:22) We reimburse for tow fees and gas if you are traveling to orientation in a rental car
