SULLY ERNA & SHANNON LARKIN kindly invited yours truly BARBARA CASERTA on GODSMACK’s tour bus in Milano, March 4th 2019, for this revealing videointerview for Linea Rock. Hats off, since it happened just one hour prior to their loud and proud sold-out gig at Magazzini Generali on a damn cold monday night, which they definitely got hot! 7 albums in 20 years: 20 million albums sold later, is Godsmack spirit still alive and how did the metal quartet developed its style to their ears? And they are into Classic “Hard Rock” much more then you’d ever expect… but which do they think it's their spot in the rock scene? After 3 No.1 albums did they get spoiled and addicted to triumphs? After “When Legends Rise” became the most-played 2018 song at Rock Radio in America, did their approach to this hit, and to songwriting in general, change someway? And Sully gets more adrenaline playing Poker or on stage? And what’s typical italian in his attitude: when “Salvatore” takes over? Do they look forward to Ohio’s Inkcarceration Music And Tattoo Festival 2019 bill as a major challenge? What happens on “Godsmack Day” in Boston? Does Shannon live comfortably the definition of “John Bonham of alternative metal”? And what do Sully think about his favorite band’s - Alice in Chains - new course and reunions in general? Will there ever be Godsmack without Sully?
