Here’s your Unemployment For All update for June 23rd, 2020.

I recently found out that over 105,000 people in the states of Texas, Virginia and Ohio have been asked to repay some of their unemployment benefits.

46,651 people from Texas, 35,000 from Virginia and 24,000 from Ohio have been told that their state’s unemployment program overpaid their benefits.

Some of the issues that caused the notifications included eligibility misunderstandings, fraud, oversight and technical errors.

In some cases, people had to repay their entire unemployment check!

Thank you so much to everyone out there from Oklahoma, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Arkansas, North Carolina, Iowa, Florida, Texas, Nevada, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Tennessee and Washington for watching the channel.

In my home state of Nevada, the unemployment rate dropped to 29% during the month of May.

We’ve been hit especially hard by that thing out there, but are slowly starting to make a recovery.

That high unemployment rate is actually down from 34% in April and hopefully is a sign of good things to come for Las Vegas and the entire Silver State.

If you are still waiting for PUA funds in your state, I’m sure you’re frustrated.

But it’s important that you stay vigilant and dedicated to securing the disaster relief funds that you deserve.

Remember, if you are a gig-worker, self employed, independent contractor or 1099 worker, you could be eligible for over $10,000 in PUA money.

Call your state’s unemployment hotline until your fingers are numb and don’t give up until you get an answer on your unemployment claim.

I know it’s been a complete nightmare for so many of you out there and it seems like you’ll never get your unemployment money.

Stay diligent, because when you do get your unemployment funds, they should arrive in a backdated check for over $10,000, possibly as high as $20,000.
