Dhanush (Voyage du Fakir) 'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir' - Kaala, Maari 2

Dhanush is one of South India's most recognisable film stars and makes his international debut with 'The Extradordinary Journey of the Fakir', which releases in France on May 30.
He plays the central part in this feel-good romantic comedy which has an international cast, including Oscar-nominated French star, Bérénice Bejo. This film is adapted from the best-selling French novel, 'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir who got trapped in an Ikea Wadrobe' by Romain Puertolas.
Directed by Canadian Ken Scott, the film, it is understood, has been sold to more than 100 territories. Publicity for the film was launched at the Cannes Film Festival and in this interview with French Indian film journalist, Brigitte Leloire Kerackian, Dhanush also talks about his other projects, including Marie 2 and the much anticipated, 'Kaala' with South Indian film superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. Produced by Dhanush, this film releases on June 7. An actor, director and producer, he has also appeared in the Bollywood film, 'Shamitabh' alongside icon Amitabh Bachchan to great acclaim in 2015.
