How to Ask for a Client's Budget
How to Ask for a Client’s Budget // In this video I’ll teach you 5 techniques that you can use to ask for your client’s budget and get an answer! Far too many creative freelancers and agency professionals are too afraid to ask for their client’s budget prior to creating a proposal. You run a huge risk of wasting your valuable time crafting a proposal for a client who may not even have enough money to work with you. It is imperative that you ask their budget and know the answer prior to creating your proposal.
I will teach you the right way to ask the client, how to ask about past projects, how to float a price range, compare other products, and when to send a rough estimate to your client in lieu of a full proposal.
Don’t miss the highlight at 13:23 when I interview myself playing both the role of the client and the agency!
