Näset is a popular and child-friendly place for a dip in the sea thanks to its shallow, sandy beach enclosed by rocks. With public transport it’s a 40 minute ride from Gothenburg city. The cape known as Smithska udden, which also goes under the name “Smitten”, is a popular spot among people of all ages. Here you find bathing platforms and cliffs as well as green areas. There’s also a playground for the kids.
