The Red-String-Connected Poem for Nurses
This poem is dedicated to all Nurses at the frontline caring for patients during the COVID-19 Pandemic
"I feel, I think, I will myself to do,
If only I can breathe for you.
If only I can,
Perhaps another time.
You taught me the meaning of life,
I live my own as if it's time.
I see my own death befall,
Every moment I recall.
I will myself to care again,
For every suffering I feel the pain.
I hide behind the mask of time,
My grit bequeathed,
In strings sublime."
