American Eskimo & Pomeranian at the Beach

This was the dogs first time off leash EVER in a public place (aside from your typical fenced-in dog park) and luckily they didn't run off too far! Fort Funston in San Francisco is an excellent option if you want to let your dogs run off leash in a clean, somewhat self-contained environment. If it is your first time letting your dogs off leash as well, you don't have to worry about them being set loose around cars because it's about a 10-15 minute walk downhill to the actual beach front and you are surrounded by cliffs. Fort Funston is a protected area within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area with cliffs dropping off more than 200 feet, making for gorgeous views and a clean, secluded beach front.

Currently, Woofy (pom mix) is 2 years old and Lacey (American Eskimo) is 7 months old. They are working on their tricks and commands as you will see in this video.
