Woodturning A Segmented Bowl

This is a segmented bowl made out of Purpleheart, with a Chevron pattern made out of Maple, Walnut, and Jatoba. The bowl is 11.25 inches diameter, by 7.5 inches high. There are 130 pieces. The chevron patter is made with long grain. I started this project on January 26, 2015. This video is filmed and edited by me on my iPhone.

This bowl is my second segmented turning and by far the most complicated turning I have made. It has only been 5 months sense I have started properly turning. look forward to more project films and more segmented turning.
