Woodturning a Bowl with Wings (a Square Bowl)
Wood turning a square bowl with wings. I make this pretty bowl from Guanacaste, a wood I’ve never used before. Thanks for watching!
While making this, I mostly use a 5/8 bowl gouge, but also a ¼ inch parting tool and a heavy round nose scraper. This winged bowl is then sanded up to 1000 grit and finished with walnut oil and shellac.
