Resurrecting Shorty - A Land Rover Restoration.
Shorty is a 1965 Series IIA Land Rover, which I have owned since 2004. Two years ago she failed her MoT on excessive chassis corrosion, and now I'm working to get her fixed and back on the road where she belongs.
So far, I have removed all the bodywork from the bulkhead back, and then repaired the rear half of the chassis including replacing the rear crossmember. In this video, I remove the remaining bodywork, the engine and the gearbox, and assess the condition of the front half of the chassis.
