Resurrecting Shorty - A Land Rover Restoration.
Shorty is a 1965 Series IIA Land Rover, which I have owned since 2004. Two years ago, she failed her MoT on excessive chassis corrosion, but with no time or funds available I couldn't carry out the repairs needed. Now, her time has come, and I am undertaking an extensive amout of work to get her fixed and back on the road where she belongs!
In this video, I begin the repairs to the centre and front sections of the main chassis rail on the driver's side, cutting out rotten steel and old patches to be replaced with nice fresh pieces.
