Adding C4 Corvette Convertible Undercar Bracing to a Coupe

This video covers the installation of a C4 Convertible Undercar bracing to a Coupe model. This helps increase stiffness, and flexing, especially when the Targa Top Panel is removed. Because it is an OEM GM part, it looks great and is tucked up well on the underside. The rivet nut size is M10x1.50 pitch, .7 to 3.8 mm material thickness. You can buy these from McMaster Carr p/n 95105A199. The drill size is 13.5 mm for these rivet nuts. There are various Rivet Nut tools you can use, a hand install tool, a Rivet Gun type tool, or pneumatic actuated tool.
