Subminimum Wage | Did Philip Defranco get it right?
This video answers the question: Can I discuss the issue of the subminimum wage (sheltered workshop program) and the video on this topic featured on Phil Defranco’s channel?

The subminimum wage question is a controversial topic and relates to the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. This act allowed for individuals with disabilities to receive less than the minimum wage, given that the employer completed a certification. Many advocates for individuals with physical and mental health disabilities are opposed to some minimum-wage, and others would like to see this program stay in place. I attempt to provide a fair analysis of the subminimum wage controversy and also to provide a definitive opinion based on scientific evidence.
