🧘🏻♀️ Guided Imagery Meditation: The Beach 🏝🏖
Welcome back to my Guided Meditation Series!
This is one of my favorite types of meditation - the guided imagery meditation - especially when it involves visualizing a beautiful beach, like Kahala Beach here on Oahu. Guided imagery meditations can help you create a mental escape from the chaos of life with a focus on a sense of calm and peacefulness. Feel free to keep your eyes open or closed throughout the meditation, whichever feels right for you. Note: It may be easier for you to visualize your own version of the beach with your eyes closed. You can do this meditation anytime and anywhere - during a quick break in your workday, when you're stuck in a situation that isn't pleasant, when you wake up, right before you go to bed, and more. WARNING: It's so relaxing, it may put you to sleep ;)
During your life, you may encounter many duties and responsibilities for separate roles, such as being a boss, manager, employee, caregiver, father, mother, and more. You may encounter stressful events or hectic situations. It is easy to feel like you're stuck in a rut, with nowhere to go, or wishing you could take a break from life. Do you find yourself wishing you could be somewhere else, if even only for a brief moment? Do you forget to focus on your breathing sometimes? Fortunately, you can use this guided imagery meditation that incorporates breathing and visualization to focus on your breathing, daydream a bit, bring your attention to something relaxing, decrease stress, and bring calm to your day.
