Lovecraft Country is one of my newest favorite shows and I noticed the costume design in the opening scene from its premiere. Dayna Pink is the costume designer on the show and she does an incredible job.

I've been thinking since the first episode of ways I can incorporate this show into my YouTube channel and I figured a breakdown of the costumes may be the way to go. I am not an expert in costume design. I have dabbled in it (costume designed a play in Dallas), and I wish to gain more experience in this role that intersects the fashion and entertainment industries.

This video consists of my thoughts on the costume and my interpretation of how it develops through each character. I based this video on my fashion and costume knowledge and also what I've learned from relatives that lived during this time. I originally planned to do two episodes in one video, but after filming I realized I had enough content to do each video separately. Because of my original plan, I left out some information about the fashions of this time period, but look out for breakdowns of episodes 3-10 as they will have more information.
