Camping in a Thunderstorm - Our route takes us through the northern part of central Turkey. We arrive after the harvest and find a barren landscape, mile after mile of rolling hills with rich earth toned colors. The conditions are muddy and it makes camping a challenge. There is some time to relax in a hotel and the management offers us free breakfasts! The weather this time of year can change on a dime and one early evening we barely have our tent up before a thunderstorm breaks loose. The next morning all is well, we mount our bicycles and continue where we had to bail out the previous day. It is getting progressively colder and the fall seems to be racing faster than ever. We can feel winter is coming, which we are excited about but also kind of dread.

To see, feel, smell, hear and taste everything the road has to offer will be so much different than watching a documentary or reading a book about it. Sometimes it will be difficult and most of the time fantastic. We hope you will find some inspiration in our video's and maybe fuel your dreams as so many other have done for us.
