Poem:

Days, when you don't feel too good about yourself, are also important. Dark clouds are equally enthralling as sunshine.
Without the ups and downs of life,
even your beating heart will have a flat line.

But on days when everything goes south
the bread is toasted
yet falls before reaching your mouth,
Take a deep breath
Pause, before in frustration you shout.

You see in maths we have something called sequence and series
now I understand if for numbers
we don't share the same affinity but bear with me.

While every series is uncertain
about what its destiny
special amongst them is the series of harmony;
adding all the positives and embracing the negativity;
through slow and rigorous addition
a harmonic series becomes infinite.

Every other chapter of your life may not feel just right
were you supposed to be here listening to math poem tonight?
Were you born to do the things you do,
are you the person you were meant to be?
Don't worry if you got no clue,
most of us are lost you see.

You have the power to decide.
One small decision adds up to another;
even fractions contribute to reach greater heights.

There is art in your struggle.
There is poetry in your journey.
For your purpose is an artistic discovery.

You shall build and fall
and rise again from destruction;
for you are but a masterpiece
Under Construction.
