travel diary for july 21, 2023

I explored the world on July 21, 2023 and roasted marshmallows on the stove.

I will walk quickly to my car after work nowadays. I park nearby the building and speed walk to my car as soon as I clock off. it has been so hot this summer, and sometimes the temperature is over 90 degrees. it gets very hot in my car in the late afternoon, but I still want to rush to my car to sit down. I guess, the reason is that prior to rushing to my car, I had been standing at work for an extended period of time. these past few weeks I have also found myself staying over my scheduled shift end-time. I'm not sure what has come over me, but I will stay over to help my colleagues. this is highly unusual behavior for me so I don't understand why I have been doing that.
