Aprilia have shaken up the middleweight sportsbikes market with their RS660 twin and it looks like Japanese manufacturers could follow suit with a near-confirmed Yamaha R7/R-07. Could Kawasaki get into the ring as well, using a bigger version of their 650cc parallel twin engine?
